Autumn Term 2026

<Think> Digital Games Creator

Does your child love playing video games?

Let’s turn that passion into something creative, challenging, and genuinely educational!

In this term’s club, children go far beyond just playing games – they create & build their own platform-style video games - using our most popular game-making platforms - Bloxels EDU, MakeCode and, for our older Coders, an introduction to modern AI-powered game development tools.

As they create their games, children will explore every stage of the design process: developing characters, designing levels and backgrounds, adding animations, and coding gameplay mechanics. Along the way, they’ll learn how to test, debug, and improve their creations just like real game developers.

While having fun, children will also develop valuable skills including:

  • Computational thinking

  • Problem solving

  • Creativity

  • Logical reasoning

  • Resilience and perseverance

The creativity doesn’t stop when the club finishes. Children will receive their own login to Bloxels EDU, allowing them to continue building and developing their games at home throughout the Autumn term. They can even publish their creations online to share with friends and family and continue playing them long after the club has ended.
