Does you child love video games?
Let’s turn that passion into something creative, challenging, and genuinely educational!
In this term’s club, children go far beyond just playing games – they design, build and bring to life their own platform style video games, using one of our most popular game-making platforms - Bloxels EDU.
Decomposing each aspect of game design – characters, layout, backgrounds, gameplay, and animations – children will code each pixel block to act in the way they want, debugging and improving their creations as they go.
More than just being fun, this club builds essential skills for the digital age: computational thinking, problem solving, perseverance, creativity, and resilience.
And the learning doesn’t stop when our club ends! Children will also have their own logins to our Bloxels EDU platform so they continue exploring and creating at home throughout the Autumn term.
Year 5 / 6 Think < Virtual Worlds >
Creativity meets Code!
This term, children will design, build, and code their own 3D virtual reality worlds using the powerful CoSpaces EDU platform. From animations to interactive games, they’ll bring their digital creations to life.
Using a visual, block-based coding language, children will explore essential programming concepts such as algorithms, sequences, loops, variables, logic, and conditionals — all while solving problems and thinking creatively.
They’ll also receive their own log-in to CoSpaces EDU, giving them full access to keep creating and experimenting at home throughout the term.
With open-ended challenges and endless possibilities, this club is perfect for building computational thinking, confidence, and creativity — and inspiring a lifelong interest in tech and design.

Year 5/6 - Thursday after-school (to 4.25pm)
Autumn Term club starts on 18th Sept., ends 11th Dec. There will be no after-school club on 2nd October.
