Summer Term 2025
This term’s club will focus on the world of Scratch for all 3 clubs we are running; exploring coding, creativity and problem-solving through animation and game design.
Our KS1 club will explore Scratch Jr - using basic code blocks to bring characters to life, create fun animations, and develop early computational thinking skills in an easy-to-use, tablet friendly environment.
For those in Year 3/4 and Year 5/6, coders will focus on MIT’s most recent, Scratch 3.0. Designing and animating characters and creating interactive stories and games, children will learn core coding concepts of variables, loops, logic and conditional statements, all the time developing their problem solving and computational thinking skills. All projects will be built in our <Think> Big Scratch Classroom Studio, where coders can save, share and collaborate in a secure and guided environment.
Perfect for both beginners and budding young coders!
