Summer Term 2026
Think < Scratch Jnr>
In this term’s exciting club, children explore the colourful world of ScratchJr — a fun and creative introduction to coding designed especially for younger learners. Using simple visual coding blocks, our young Coders will bring characters to life by creating their own interactive stories, animations, and mini-games.
Throughout the term, children will learn the foundations of programming by building simple sequences, controlling movement, and discovering how different blocks make things happen on screen. These playful challenges introduce key early coding ideas such as instructions, patterns, events, and problem solving in a way that feels natural and engaging.
Our imaginative activities encourage creativity, curiosity, and confidence with technology. From designing their own characters and scenes to telling digital stories and making animations move, each session helps children develop logical thinking while having lots of fun.
A fantastic first step into the world of coding in a supportive, creative, and hands-on environment!
In our new STEM Explorers Club, our youngest learners discover the joy of building, creating, and experimenting through fun hands-on challenges.
Each week children will explore simple STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) ideas using colourful materials such as LEGO, play dough, straws, blocks, and other creative building tools. Through playful challenges — like building tall towers, bridges, or creating moving structures — children begin to explore how things work.
These activities gently introduce important early skills such as problem solving, teamwork, creativity, and logical thinking, all through imaginative play and discovery.
Our screen-free sessions encourage curiosity, resilience, and confidence as children test ideas, try new approaches, and proudly share what they have built.
A wonderful introduction to the world of STEM in a fun, supportive, and hands-on environment!
