In this term’s club, children go far beyond just playing games – they design, build and bring to life their own platform style video games.

Children will use one of our most popular game-making platforms - Bloxels EDU - decomposing each aspect of game design (characters, layout, backgrounds, gameplay, and animations) by coding each pixel block in the behaviour they choose, debugging and refining their creations as they go.

More than just being fun, this club builds essential skills for the digital age: computational thinking, problem solving, perseverance, creativity, and resilience.

And the learning doesn’t stop when our club ends! Children will also have their own logins to our Bloxels EDU platform so they continue exploring and creating at home throughout the Autumn term, and the Christmas holidays too!
