Think < 3D Design & Printing>

“Flat is boring - Let’s bring things to life in 3D!”

In this term’s exciting and creative club, children step into the world of 3D design using professional CAD (Computer Aided Design) software to create their own digital models — from imaginative inventions to real-world objects.

Our Coders will learn about the core concepts of utilising CAD, how 3D Printers work, and the benefits and challenges of technology that is increasingly transforming industries from fashion to high tech. Children will also explore how CAD can be used for digital simulations - creating their own virtual fidget toys and Rube Goldberg machines.

With a focus on problem solving, creativity, and computational thinking, children will take on weekly design challenges and work towards creating their own small custom object to be printed on our 3D printers by the end of term.
