Scratch 3.0 Intro
An introduction to Scratch - MIT's amazing programming language designed for primary age children.
In this MiniCoder club, children will learn the basics of Scratch 3.0 so they can start to create and programme in this revolutionary piece of software.
Children will explore the key interfaces and functions - the stage, artists pallette, and the blockly style coding language, progressing to the creation of a fun and engaging interactive greeting card that will be able to be shared with family and friends.
Age Appropriate: All KS2 (Years 3 to 6) who have no or very limited experience of Scratch 3.0. For those children looking to progress with Scratch, we would suggest our MasterCoder series exploring games in Scratch 3.0.
Equipment requirements: PC, Mac or Chromebook with an up-to-date browser and internet connection.
Cost: £30 for 5 sessions (recommended 5 to 10+ hours of learning).
